Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a part-time Medical Assisting Instructor to deliver our ACCSC-accredited curriculum and mentor students pursuing Medical Assisting careers.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years Medical Assistant experience and proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel; teaching or coaching experience is a plus, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Current RMA, CMA (AAMA), or CCMA (NHA) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Assisting courses using Lincoln Tech's established curriculum.
• Provide hands-on skills training in our medical laboratory.
• Prepare students for the RMA exam through AMT.
• Teach safety protocols and compliance standards.
• Foster student development, professionalism, and accountability.
• Monitor and communicate student progress effectively.
• Create an engaging, motivating classroom environment.
• Prepare students for successful healthcare careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Assisting courses using Lincoln Tech's established, ACCSC-accredited curriculum
• Provide hands-on skills training in our fully equipped medical laboratory
• Prepare students for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam through American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• Teach safety protocols and compliance standards
• Foster student development, professionalism, and accountability
• Monitor and communicate student progress effectively
• Create an engaging, motivating classroom environment
• Prepare students for successful healthcare careers
