Job summary

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our field-based wound care team in the Houston area. You will travel to patient homes and support supervising providers with hands-on clinical tasks in a mobile setting.

The role requires MA certification, 1–2 years of experience, strong medical terminology, and the ability to work independently. We offer a full-time schedule, on-the-road work, and benefits including 401(k), health and vision insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Assistant certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical or medical experience preferred.
• Experience in home health, mobile healthcare, or field-based roles a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.
