Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in Westminster, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant with strong customer service and clinical skills to join our dermatology practice.

You will work with a team of professionals to provide high-quality patient care and experience, with duties ranging from patient evaluations to medical history updates and patient education.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required and valued.
• Must be computer literate and proficient with basic software.
• CPR certification preferred or able to obtain within 4 weeks.
• Must learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs.
• One year dermatology experience preferred.
• MA certificate/diploma from medical vocational program preferred.

Duties To Include

• Evaluating skin conditions of patients
• Assessing & updating medical history of patients
• Keeping a record of patients’ dermatological symptoms
• Analyzing info regarding the conditions of skin health
• Informing patients about proper and available treatments
• Conducting non-intrusive medical surgeries
• Educating patients about preventive skin care
• Screening patients and employees daily upon entry

Qualifications Include
