Quincy Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our Urology team in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will assist with examinations, procedures, and care coordination, ensuring patient comfort and efficient visit flow.

The role requires a High school diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS certification, and strong communication skills. Experience in urology or ambulatory care is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant education or previous clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Prior urology, specialty clinic, or ambulatory care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
• Able to provide compassionate care while maintaining patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for appointments, obtain vital signs and medical history.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and urologic procedures.
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Support specimen collection, lab work, and imaging coordination.
• Document care and instructions in the EMR accurately.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and patient communications.

You will provide hands-on clinical support, assist with examinations and procedures, coordinate follow-up care, and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visits.This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced specialty environment, learning new clinical skills, and building relationships with patients. You will play an important role in maintaining efficient patient flow while providing compassionate, respectful care for patients with sensitive healthcare needs.Schedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am -5:00pm.This position works in a busy outpatient specialty clinic, supporting providers with patient visits, procedures, and ongoing care coordination.Primary ResponsibilitiesRoom and prepare patients for appointments, including obtaining vital signs, medications, allergies, and medical history.Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and urologic procedures within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.Prepare examination and procedure rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies.Assist with specimen collection, diagnostic testing, catheter-related care, and other clinical procedures as trained and directed.Administer medications and injections as directed and within scope of practice.Respond to patient messages, communicate provider instructions, and assist with clinical follow-up.Coordinate laboratory work, imaging, referrals, prescriptions, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments.Provide patient education and instructions related to procedures, treatments, and ongoing care as directed by the provider.Accurately document patient care, procedures, and communication in the electronic medical record.Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards while supporting efficient clinic operations.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Medical Assistant education or previous clinical experience preferred.Medical Assistant certification preferred.Current CPR/BLS certification required.Previous urology, specialty clinic, or ambulatory healthcare experience preferred but not required.Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.Ability to provide compassionate, professional care while maintaining patient privacy and comfort.Comfort assisting with clinical procedures and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.Employer provided life and disability insurance.$5,250 Tuition Reimbursement per year.Immediate 401(k) match.40 hours paid volunteer time off.A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members once eligibility requirements are met.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.12 - $24.18 per hour, with actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
