Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for the Ontario Hospital location in the Health Services Department. The role involves a mix of administrative and direct patient care, supporting patient flow and ensuring comfort throughout visits.

Requirements include a high school diploma, BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire), and a valid driver’s license. Preferred certifications include MA, STNA, EMT or Paramedic, with opportunities for growth within the system.

Position Overview

Performs a variety of administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. Responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performing required procedures and tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

• Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT or Paramedic.
