Float Pool Medical Assistant – Overview

Provide essential staffing support across Overlake’s outpatient and urgent care services. This role supports multiple Urgent Care clinics and requires travel to locations in Bellevue, Issaquah, Newcastle, and Redmond. Float Pool Medical Assistants are cross‑trained to support urgent care, front, and back office duties, ensuring high‑quality patient care and operational continuity.

Pay & Schedule

Hourly: $28.02 – $38.77

Full‑time shifts: 7am – 330pm OR 230pm – 1030pm, 8‑hour or 10‑hour variability, day, evening, weekend, holiday. Sign‑on bonus: $5,000. Float Pool premium: $2.00/hr in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience satisfying Washington state standards.
• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) through WA State DOH required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable personal vehicle required for travel between clinic locations.
