OhioHealth in Grove City is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in an urgent care setting. The Medical Assistant will perform administrative and clinical duties, prepare patients for visits, and document in the EMR.

The role emphasizes adherence to provider instructions and high-quality patient care. The position requires a High School diploma or GED, MA program completion or certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent AND one of: completion of MA program, or graduation from an accredited School of Medical Assisting, or Military Medic training, or Paramedic certification, or 1 year of physician-trained MA experience.
• High School or GED required; BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates efficient patient flow including preparing the patient for the visit and performing services as directed by providers.
• Documents in Care Connect EMR accurately and maintains current information.
• Maintains clean and organized environment; reports equipment malfunctions to appropriate staff.
• Communicates with patients and team in a respectful, caring manner; supports care coordination.
• Engages in continuous quality improvement and education to support safe, effective care.
