Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is hiring an Urgent Care Medical Assistant in Naugatuck, CT. The role supports providers to deliver a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

A high school diploma and 6 months of clinical experience are required; anAssociate’s Degree in Medical Assisting is preferred, and national MA certification is a plus. You will prepare exam rooms, document patient information, assist with labs, and help coordinate patient flow with front desk staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• At least 6 months of relevant clinical experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• National Certification as Medical Assistant a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient visits.
• Escort patients and document vital signs in medical records.
• Record medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
• Assist with lab and diagnostic test processing and documentation.
• Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with front desk staff.

What You’ll Do

• Assisting with lab and diagnostic test processing and documentation

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• At least6 months of relevant experiencein a clinical setting
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting (preferred)
