Qualifications

• Graduate of medical assistant program; no further experience required for trainee track.
• High School Diploma required for Medical Assistant Trainee; on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care and clinical procedures under supervision.
• Take patients to rooms and obtain vital signs.
• Assist with medical procedures and phlebotomy as needed.
• Perform lab specimen collection and maintain EMR records.
• Handle scheduling, greeting patients, and clerical tasks.
• Process prior authorizations, billing/coding, and faxing.
• Complete disability and FMLA paperwork and related admin tasks.
