Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with non-invasive procedures.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms before patient visits.
• Handle patient intake, report test results, triage, and document information as directed.
• Review and maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Pre-register patients, schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, verify insurance, and manage clinic communications.
• Maintain an organized workload and provide prompt, courteous service to providers, patients, and visitors.
• Monitor and requisition supplies and equipment to ensure inventory levels.
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and health-related topics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
