Job summary

MultiCare Neuroscience Institute in Washington state is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support the physician/APP office team. This full-time role requires MA-C credential, BLS, and patient-care duties including vitals, specimen collection, and medication administration under DOH regulations.

Responsibilities include organizing patient flow, interviewing patients, preparing for exams, and assisting with referrals and forms.

Qualifications

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Position Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) is an integral part of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. The MA-C has continuous contact with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients and their families/caregivers.

• Facilitating patient referrals

Requirements:

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.83 - $35.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
