Job summary

Aurora Medical Group in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine team. You will support providers, take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and assist during procedures. The ideal candidate has a MA diploma or 2 years of MA experience (or CMA) and may have phlebotomy skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience, or CMA with 2 years experience.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
