Job summary

MaineHealth Primary Care - Internal Medicine - Topsham is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support patient care and administrative tasks in a collaborative, team-based office. The MA functions under a provider's license when performing clinical responsibilities.

Eligible candidates may receive sign-on bonuses; the position is a 36-hour per week role with a pay range of $21.09 to $27.12 per hour and comprehensive benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus MA program with 160 hours of clinical experience.
• Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification required.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and administrative support in a team-based office.
• Perform clinical duties under license of a provider to support patient flow.
