Job summary

Jobtailor in Columbus, OH seeks a Medical Assistant to assist with direct patient care, perform specialized procedures, and support the medical and nursing staff during examinations and treatments.

You will room patients, record vital signs, complete patient history, prepare patients for exams and tests, assist with procedures as ordered by physicians, set up equipment, and collect samples for routine laboratory tests; Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Diploma from Medical Assistant Program is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.
• Military Medic training is an acceptable alternative.
• EMT-P training is an acceptable alternative.
• Equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education is acceptable.
