Job summary

MainStreet Family Urgent Care is expanding and seeks energetic Medical Assistants for our Forest City, NC location. As a Medical Assistant, you'll assist in patient care including intake, treatment, and discharge. This role involves a rotating schedule of 4 days one week and 3 days the next, providing flexibility.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Competitive compensation includes starting pay of $15/hr and benefits like health, dental, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office suite is beneficial.
• Prior Medical Assisting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Provider(s) in the care of patients.
• Triage patients promptly to ensure smooth workflow.
• Document vital signs and updates to medical history.
• Perform lab tests as per clinical guidelines.
• Manage digital patient records.
• Prepare examination rooms for patient appointments.
• Administer prescribed medications.
• Assist during patient examinations.
• Position patients for x-rays.
• Help manage medical inventory.

Skills
