Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide nursing assistance and direct patient care in a medical office setting. You will support physicians and other clinicians as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and needs are met.

The position requires 1 year of healthcare experience and a current American Heart Association BLS certification, with color acuity screening as needed for unit-specific roles. Schedule is on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff, and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.
