Part-Time Medical Assistant (PRN) – Columbus, GA

Responsibilities

• Assist provider(s) in patient care to ensure optimal medical delivery.
• Triage patients promptly per clinic procedures.
• Document vital signs, weight, and updates to patient medical history.
• Perform lab tests per clinical guidelines and provider instructions.
• Manage digital patient records and support transition from paper to electronic systems.
• Prepare examination rooms for appointments, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Administer prescribed medications under provider supervision.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
• Position patients for x‑rays as directed.
• Monitor and manage medical inventory when needed.

Clinic Hours of Operation

• MainStreet: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

KidStreet Locations: Montgomery, Pelham, Gainesville, Mobile, Augusta, Tallahassee, Columbus, Valdosta, Savannah, Charlotte, Wake Forest, Greenville, Wilmington, and Winston‑Salem.
Clinic hours are subject to change.

Rotating Schedule

PRN positions require scheduling flexibility. Availability on weekdays and weekends is essential. Schedule may change, and occasional travel to other clinics may be required.
