Job summary

CareNow - Inspirada in Henderson, NV is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant (PRN) to support patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will prepare patients, assist with examinations, and coordinate follow-up care under physician supervision.

The role requires 1+ year clinical experience, EHR familiarity, and MA program completion. Certification is helpful. This posting is with CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, offering a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting preferred.
• Experience using an EHR system is very helpful.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting or completion of Back Office Training Program (BOTP) is required.
• AAMA certification is helpful but not required.
• Ability to obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certificate and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment, taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments and supplies; maintain sterility.
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians with splints, dressings, and bandages.
• Assist with transfers and scheduling of follow-up care.
• Coordinate patient physicals and workplace injury checks for partner accounts.
• Screen incoming calls for referrals to physicians and practitioners.

This position is incentive eligible. Hourly Wage Estimate: $18.31 - $26.56 / hour.

As a Medical Assistant, you will:

You Should Have:
