Job summary

The Corvallis Clinic in Oregon is hiring Medical Assistants to support patient care across our Corvallis, Albany and Philomath clinics. You will assist practitioners, manage patient flow, document in the EHR, and relay test results with a focus on accuracy and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate from a medical assistant program (AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT) or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to complete BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Directs patient flow and prepares patients for exams.
• Obtains chief complaint, patient history, vital signs, and documents in the EHR.
• Relays test results and instructs patients regarding medications and treatment.
