Qualifications

• Must have a medical assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited program.
• National certification for medical assistants (CMA/NCCT/AMT) is required or must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Demon strated completion of 10+ clock hours of injections and other clinical skills per UCLA Health program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner in ambulatory care.
• Participate in patient care, recognize normal/abnormal signs, and support during emergencies.
• Perform basic administrative, clerical and technical tasks within scope of supervision and training.
