Job summary

Better Health Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support under the supervision of a Physician, PA, or APRN. You will prepare patients for exams, assist during visits, and support front office operations.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, Medicare/MA coordination, and a safe clinic environment in a value-based care model. Strong EMR skills and compassionate service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferred in a physician practice or outpatient setting.
• Proficient with EMRs and basic clinical office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and document histories in the EMR.
• Measure vital signs and document clinical observations.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the provider.
• Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and ensure patient confidentiality.
