Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant for the Primary Care Float Pool. You will work across multiple Downtown locations, including the Pavilion, supporting physicians by rooming patients, measuring vital signs and handling routine clinical tasks.

Requires CMA certification, CPR, and at least 2 years of patient care experience, preferably in a physician's office. High school diploma or GED is required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• room patients and greet them during visits.
• Obtain vital signs and document medically.
• Provide nursing assistance to physicians as needed.
• Schedule care, tests and referrals per physician instructions.
• Process prescription requests and referrals.
