Job summary

Southwest Care Center is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Santa Fe Clinic. The MA will provide direct patient care under supervision, support coordination of care, and manage data and reports for clinical supervision. Travel to other SCC clinics may be required.

The role requires 2 years of MA experience in primary care, with preferred CCMA/CMA certification and Basic Life Support. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities in a mission-driven nonprofit

Qualifications

• Two years direct experience as a Medical Assistant in a Primary Care position preferred.
• Certification (CCMA, CMA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the MA's scope of practice as directed by the provider/RN/LPN.
• Assist provider/RN/LPN in the coordination of patient care.
• Manage data and prepare reports for supervisors of Southwest CARE Center.
• Perform regular clinical maintenance duties.
• Travel as needed to the various SCC clinics.
