Founded over forty years ago as Lincoln Physicians, the Mass General Brigham Healthcare Center in Concord continues to honor its founders’ legacy by delivering compassionate, dedicated, personal health care to families who live and work in the Concord, Massachusetts area. We are a member of the Mass General Brigham Community Physicians and a proud affiliate of Emerson Hospital. We provide primary care services at our state-of-the-art location at 80 Beharrell Street in West Concord, Massachusetts. As a Family Medicine office, we provide physical examinations, routine health screenings, and preventative care for all ages, from infants through adults. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support our practice onsite Monday through Friday from either 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm.
Dedicated to clinical support as true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants are trained to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the multidisciplinary care team. While we ideally aim to have our clinical support staff members working 1:1 with an assigned provider, they do cross-cover, rotate, and collaborate with various providers to develop their skills, expose them to different styles, and expand their clinical knowledge.
The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Medical Assisting preferred
