Job summary

Providence Medical Group (PMG) is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support administrative and clinical tasks, including scheduling appointments and updating patient information in EPIC. You’ll also take patients’ vital signs during visits in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, Or Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, Or Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

As a Medical Assistant (MA-C), you’ll help with administrative and clinical tasks like scheduling appointments, updating information in EPIC and taking patients’ vital signs at appointments.
