Job summary

Neaman Plastic Surgery Clinic seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to coordinate patient care and support the surgical journey. You will work closely with plastic surgeons, physician assistants, and anesthesiologists to ensure efficient pre- and post-operative care.

Responsibilities include charting, patient education, vital signs, and acting as a liaison between clinic and surgical teams in a fast-paced, HIPAA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a medical facility.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification.
• Excellent organization and communication.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Charting and administrative duties to ensure records are complete.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and gather histories.
• Measure vital signs and document results.
• Assist physicians in exam rooms.
• Take messages and communicate with patients, physicians, and pharmacies.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain supplies.
• Ensure logs and checks (e.g., refrigerator temps, medications) are up to date.
