Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and graduate of MA program.
• Certification required within 1 year of hire in DE.
• Current certification/registration as Medical Assistant; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam by obtaining and documenting vital signs and chief complaint.
• Performs phlebotomy and vaccines administration with proper documentation.
• Screens and directs patient calls per protocol and communicates prescriptions/tests results.
• Performs daily regulatory testing and ensures equipment accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains par level of clinical supplies for the facility.
• Performs front desk duties including registration, billing and scheduling.
