Job summary

PCC Medical Holding, LLC (Physician Care Centers) is seeking a Medical Assistant for our San Antonio offices. The role combines administrative and clinical duties to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include patient intake, chart review, specimen collection, injections, and assisting during exams. Candidates should have 3+ years of clinical experience, HS diploma, and MA certification or higher with CPR/First Aid. Full-time, on-site, with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification or higher (EMT, RN, LPN) CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office and EMR systems preferred.
• Knowledge of medical codes (CPT/ICD) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for provider, ensuring readiness of charts.
• Verify lab and diagnostic results are in the chart before appointments.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms; maintain cleanliness and supplies.
• Collect vital signs, patient history, and medication lists.
• Assist provider during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed.
• Transcribe prescriptions and manage refills as directed by provider.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with coding tasks.
