Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in our Pensacola clinic. You will perform phlebotomy, run labs, ensure quality control, troubleshoot instruments, and assist with procedures. A minimum of one year of outpatient medical office experience is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Location: 4724 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32503.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office; venipuncture preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in office. Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
