Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Olympia, WA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join the pediatric outpatient team. The MA-C supports physicians and APPs, cares for patients and families, and ensures smooth clinic flow.

Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. The MA-C has continuous contact with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients and their families/caregivers.**Responsibilities:*** Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include: + Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff + Interviewing patients + Obtaining vital signs + Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments + Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture + Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency + Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers* Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include: + Sending and receiving of patient medical records + Facilitating patient referrals + Preparing forms for patients**Requirements:*** Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)* Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred* Current BLS certification **Where kids and families are always first**Everything we do starts with a commitment to children and families. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.83 - $35.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
