Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant for its Immediate Care locations in Gurnee, IL. The role offers full-time hours with rotating shifts, including occasional weekends; candidates will perform front-desk duties, register patients, collect co-pays, and provide basic clinical support under physician supervision.

CPR certification is required; medical assisting certification is preferred. Experience in a medical office and on-the-job training are considered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred, but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support and check in/out patients.
• Verify insurances and greet patients to escort to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
• Support physician practice with administrative tasks as needed.
