VIPCARE in the United States is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support under a physician or APP. You will prepare patients for examinations, assist with procedures, and document encounters in the EMR, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish, has a high school diploma, completed an accredited Medical Assistant program, and brings 1+ year of experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent certification).
• 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice, outpatient, or ambulatory care setting preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtained within organizational guidelines.
• IV Therapy certification preferred, where permitted by state regulations.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention, and CLIA regulations.
• Experience using EMRs and Google Workspace.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and prepare them for provider examinations and document history in the EMR.
• Measure vital signs and document clinical observations.
• Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures.
• Explain provider instructions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care to patients.
• Maintain patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
