You will administer medications as directed, educate patients, schedule appointments, and assist with in-room preparation and patient education. Maintain clean examination rooms, manage supplies, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• At least one year of experience in a physician’s office or clinical setting.
• Registered or State Certified Medical Assistant with accrediting board.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through history, observation, and data analysis.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with direct patient care.
• Administer medications as directed and provide patient education.
• Schedule appointments and handle telephone consultations.
• Maintain clean and well-equipped examination rooms and manage supplies.
• Contribute to departmental QA projects.
