Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or one year of MA experience required.
• Urology experience a plus (ALL REGIONS EXCEPT ARIZONA).
• Graduated from an accredited MA program and MA Certification preferred (Arizona only).
• Proficiency in triaging patients, phlebotomy, injections, vitals, and specimen processing.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily exam rooms in the clinical area for patient care, stocking necessary supplies.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and records vital signs; collects urine samples and performs urinalysis when indicated.
• Triages patient calls for pharmacy requests, test results, and medical questions; documents outcomes in EHR.
• Maintains OSHA/MOSHA logs and records; supports infection control and equipment maintenance.
• Follows sterilization and disinfection practices; handles biomedical waste per policy.
• Welcomes patients and visitors and supports a compassionate, professional environment.
