Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a multidisciplinary care team in Atlanta area clinics. You will assist physicians and care staff, help with patient comfort and safety, and perform routine tasks within defined supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of healthcare experience, American Heart Association BLS certification, and attention to color vision requirements for clinical duties. Working hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

One year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting.
Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.
