Hometown Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a Medical Group Summit Sierra, providing back and front-office assistance and patient-centered care. The role may float to multiple sites within the health system and involves rooming, patient education, and coordination of tests and referrals.

Requirements include English proficiency and experience in a multi-physician office; Nevada licensure for Office Laboratory Assistant or similar and BLS certification are typically required.

Qualificações

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language.
• Multi-physician office practice experience highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers in back office duties and coordinate patient tests and referrals.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and document communications.
• Prepare lab specimens and manage exam room stock consistent with MA requirements.
• Perform patient education, cast/brace related tasks, and assist in OR, inpatient units, or ER as needed.
