Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Swedish Hospital operations in Chicago. This full-time role supports front-desk and clinical tasks, greets patients, documents vitals, and assists with phlebotomy and injections as required.

You will work Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, travel to other Medical Group offices if needed, and perform basic vitals and front-office duties while growing in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of medical assisting program preferred but not required.
  • Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience: One year of work experience required; prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
  • Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
  • Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight.
  • Provide front office support as needed.
  • Phlebotomy and injections as dictated by the specialty.

Education
