Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited school is preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship is required.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive procedures and vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for visits and procedures.
• Handle patient intake, report test results, and document information.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Coordinate pre-registration, scheduling, referrals, and insurance eligibility.
• Provide courteous, efficient service to patients and staff.
• Monitor supplies and equipment; ensure inventory levels.
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
