Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care and to handle administrative tasks alongside patient care duties at Conviva Daytona in Daytona Beach, FL.

The role supports Tuberculosis screening, requires MA school or CMA/RMA certification or 5+ years experience with provider approval, and includes scheduling 40 hours weekly with a 8:00 to 5:00 schedule. Pay ranges annually with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school or CMA/RMA certification or 5+ years with provider approval.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Medication/vaccine administration experience.
• TB screening program participation is required.

Responsibilities

• Document patient symptoms in EMR.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Administer injections.
• Perform diagnostic tests.
• Collect specimens and draw blood.
• Sterilize equipment.
• Maintain examination rooms.
• Support patient care and operations.
