Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant program; Florida or any state accepted.
• 1-2 years of medical setting experience preferred; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and treat them with respect; manage check-in/out and scheduling.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with exams (e.g., PAPS) to minimize delays.
• Maintain patient flow and anticipate provider needs during visits.
• Complete billing and encounter forms on the same day of intervention.
• Accurately document in patient charts and manage records in Intergy system.
• Follow infection control policies and HIPAA requirements.
