Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Two years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs, recognizing and reporting abnormal findings.
• Assist with patient intake, rooming, and clinic flow.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments.
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Demonstrate reliability and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Follow standard and transmission-based precautions; participate in safety programs.
• Gather and organize clinical documentation for providers.
• Request medical records from outside facilities; scan and upload to the EMR.
• Answer and route telephone calls professionally and efficiently.
