Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in outpatient settings across our northwest Georgia and southeast Tennessee network. You will prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and assist with procedures under supervision.

You will also handle patient communications, refill requests, referrals, and scheduling while keeping treatment areas orderly and compliant with standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program preferred (ACHEP-accredited).

Responsibilities

• Assist with examination and treatment of patients under physician supervision.
• Prepare patients for visits and record vital signs.
• Collect blood samples, tissues, or other specimens as directed and prepare them for testing.
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, and physician instructions to patients.
• Prepare and maintain clean, orderly treatment rooms and assist with clerical duties.
• Support business operations, medical records management, reception, and scheduling as needed.
• Demonstrate teamwork to meet department and company goals.
