Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Medical Assistant in Hartford, CT. The role supports office visits by preparing patients, escorting them to treatment rooms, and collecting pertinent information for the medical record, with documentation in the chart.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, acting as a scribe between patient and physician, and coordinating patient flow to maintain efficient, timely care. Day shift, full-time position with benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience.
• Knowledge of medical assisting with an Associate’s Degree preferred; certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments; escort to treatment rooms.
• Record patient history, vital signs, and chief complaints in the chart.
• Document lab/diagnostic results in the medical record after physician review.
• Assist with patient flow and front desk tasks to ensure timely visits.
