Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Temple Lung Center in Yardley. The role involves patient reception, chart preparation, data entry, and assisting clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow.

The candidate will greet patients, collect demographics, and handle billing alongside clinical support tasks. Required are a CMA/RMA/Cert Clin Medical Assistant or equivalent, Basic Life Support, and completion of a medical assistant program or an acceptable combination of education

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant program completion or equivalent
• 1 year experience in physician offices or hospital/clinic preferred
• Certification as CMA/RMA/Cert Clin Medical Assistant or equivalent required, BLS required

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; manage reception duties
• Provide administrative and clerical support and maintain patient charts
• Update electronic medical records and collect payments per policies
• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient procedures and exams
