Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to exam/procedure rooms and collect medical history, vitals, allergies, and medication reconciliation in EHR.
• Record data accurately in the EMR and prepare patient charts timely.
• Coordinate with providers to ensure appropriate preparation, exams, and diagnostics occur without delay.
• Process patient referrals to other provider offices and schedule appointments.
• Collaborate with patient scheduling and help with room turnover and supply management.
• Respond to patient questions and requests in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Communicate with insurance companies and other facilities as needed.
• Assist with phones, messages, and recordkeeping tasks.
• Maintain professional boundaries and comply with scope of practice guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
