Job summary

Providence is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support licensed practitioners and assist in patient care at Swedish Medical Group in Seattle. The MA II performs duties from the MA I role under supervision and follows established policies and procedures.

The position requires completion of accredited training or MA apprenticeship, plus MA certification or equivalent, and BLS with 30 days of hire. Seattle area healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
  • Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, or
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 6 monthsHealthcare experience.
  • 6 monthsMedical Assistant experience.
