Job summary

PM Pediatrics in Belmont, VA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a pediatric urgent care setting. You will provide clinical and administrative assistance, greet patients, take histories, and prepare patients for procedures.

You will perform basic lab tasks, assist with wound care, help with patient flow, maintain cleanliness, and protect patient confidentiality while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience and/or education as a Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of EKG placement and processing in children.
• Ability to obtain laboratory tests via nasal swab and venipuncture.
• Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
