Job summary

UW Health Beaver Dam is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to join our orthopedic team. The role includes preparing patients for examinations, assisting with treatments and procedures, and delivering patient education in a compassionate, family-centered environment.

Full-time, 8-hour day shifts (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) at 705 S. University Ave, Beaver Dam, WI. Competitive pay and benefits are provided, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program (Required) or licensure as LPN.
  • Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or an Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program.
  • Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated.
  • One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA certification.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Job description

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 100% FTE, 8-hour day shifts. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday Between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position is located at 705 S. University Avenue, Beaver Dam. WI.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:

  • Join our orthopedic providers who provide a full range of non-surgical and surgical services, including trauma, joint reconstruction and replacement, sports medicine, spine, hand and upper extremity and foot and ankle surgery.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program Required or
  • Licensure as an LPN or

Work Experience
  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Certified as MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within 1 Year Required or
  • Licensure as an LPN Upon Hire Required
  • If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
