Baptist Urgent Care is seeking experienced Medical Assistants or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our Collierville, TN team. The role focuses on clinical and administrative support to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include patient prep, vitals, assisting providers, documentation, and coordinating with front desk staff. Full-time shifts are 36–40 hours weekly with rotating weekday and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain AR Limited X-Ray License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage intake in waiting areas and exam rooms.
• Record vital signs, weight, and basic history.
• Assist providers during procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with front desk for patient check-in/out as needed.
• Support transfers and ensure smooth patient flow.

Baptist Urgent Care is looking for experienced Medical Assistants or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team in Collierville, TN.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to ensure exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients, taking vitals, assisting providers, and maintaining accurate records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.

• Promptly greets patients when entering waiting area, exam room, and laboratory or x-ray room
• Consistently communicates with patients on wait times; provides direction to the next step in the treatment process
• Provides solutions to patient problems and recognizes and seeks help in emergent/hazardous situations
• Executes follow-up calls with a sense of urgency
• Assist front desk personnel with patient check in/out procedures when necessary
• Obtains and accurately documents patient vital signs and weight, takes brief history, past medical, family and social history current medications, allergies and other pertinent historical information as appropriate
• Assists with patient transfers
• Assists with procedures directly supervised by the provider
• Follows documentation procedures and completes required documentation related to patient visit

WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?
Full-time team memberswork a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
