Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Oakview Sleep Center on the first shift. This role supports physicians and the care team, delivering patient services and helping maintain clinic efficiency from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates will be a graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program with BLS certification within 30 days and willingness to work in a dynamic clinical setting; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA-endorsed).
• Medication administration knowledge if required.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient service and care under supervision of licensed practitioners.
• Assist physicians and support staff to ensure clinic efficiency.
• Maintain professional and engaging patient interactions.
• Support clinic operations and documentation.
